SENIOR MANAGEMENT
Angus has over 28 years experience in investment banking. Prior to setting up Herax, Angus was managing director at HSBC Investment Bank, where for 8 years he led the team focusing on clients in the German-speaking region. Previously, he established and ran the corporate finance team at HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt, in Dusseldorf. Angus is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Securities Institute and a fluent English and German speaker.
Andres focuses on M&A transactions as well as private equity-driven transactions in Germany. Prior to founding Herax he was at HSBC Investment Bank where he worked in the German team and the Financial Sponsors Coverage teams in London. Andres is a dual German and Spanish national and speaks English, German and Spanish.

Giuseppe is a Vice President at Herax Partners. Prior to joining Herax in October 2021, he worked for more than six years in Financial Consulting. Giuseppe holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a Master’s degree in Advanced Economic Analysis from the Barcelona School of Economics. He speaks Italian and English.
Pascal is an Associate at Herax Partners. Prior to joining Herax in January 2023, he worked for more than four years in M&A and Equity Capital Markets (ECM). Pascal holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Corporate Finance from the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University. He speaks German and English.
Alejandro is a Senior Analyst at Herax Partners. Prior to joining Herax in July 2021, he worked in the Portfolio Management team at Ursus Capital in Spain. Alejandro holds an undergraduate dual degree in International Business Management and Finance from ICADE University in Madrid. He speaks Spanish, French, and English.
Christina is a Senior Analyst at Herax Partners. Prior to joining Herax in April 2023, she gained experience at Carl Finance, Auctus Capital Partners, Clearwater International, and GCA Altium in Germany. Christina holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Esade Business School in Barcelona. She speaks German and English.
Alessandro is an Analyst at Herax Partners. Prior to joining Herax in March 2022, he worked in the Corporate Finance M&A Advisory team at Grant Thornton International in Italy. Alessandro holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance from Cass Business School. He speaks German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and English.
Constantin is an Analyst at Herax Partners. Prior to joining Herax in June 2022, he worked in various Financial Technology companies, including a Digital Asset Prime Brokerage firm and a Payments Factoring firm. Constantin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from ESCP Business School Paris. He speaks German, Spanish, French and English.
Daniel is an Analyst at Herax Partners. Prior to Herax, Daniel interned in the investment teams of Auctus Capital Partners and ALP.X Group and in the Chief Investment Office of Deutsche Bank. He holds a Master of Science in Financial Analysis from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Management & Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. He speaks German, English and French.
SENIOR ADVISERS
Florian has over 29 years experience in investment banking. Prior to becoming a senior adviser at Herax, Florian was Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at HSBC Bank plc in London. Before his secondment to HSBC in London, Florian was a member of the executive committee and Head of Investment Banking at HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt in Germany. Florian also spent more than 7 years at Dresdner Kleinwort in Frankfurt; his last role was Co-Head of European Mergers & Acquisitions. He started his career at BHF-BANK in Frankfurt from where he was seconded to London and Singapore.
Daniel Glasner is a Swiss-based M&A adviser and mediator with extensive experience in asset management and corporate restructuring. Since 2004, he has led Action Finance SA in Geneva, focusing on strategic advisory, compliance, risk management, M&A, and company restructuring & liquidation services. In addition to various roles in the financial sector, he has worked for Samuel Zell in Chicago and served as CEO of Société Bancaire Privée, where he guided the company through crucial regulatory and strategic changes. Daniel has a robust background in compliance and risk management, serves as a Judge Assessor at the Geneva Criminal Court, and is a FinSA /CEDR / SCCM Accredited Mediator.
Miles is extremely well-known in the international fashion sector, in which he has worked for the past 40 years. Most recently he was CEO of Ben Sherman from 1997 until 2010, and before that ran Pepe Jeans in Germany for 10 years. In 2010 he was awarded ‘Drapers’ fashion trade magazine Lifetime Achievement Award.
Paul is an American national who has operated in the investment banking environment in Japan for over 30 years. He worked at HSBC Investment Bank in Japan, for 20 years until 2003, focusing on equity capital markets and M&A deal origination. Paul has worked extensively within the Japanese market, active in broking Japanese equities and warrants, Eurobonds, US Treasuries, European equities and American equities with Sanford Bernstein. From 2003, Paul was Managing Director of the FTSE’s business in Asia-Pacific and since 2013, he has worked as Business Development Director for EDHEC Risk Institute’s new venture Scientific Beta.
Robert has over 30 years of experience in investment banking and alternative asset management with firms such as HSBC Investment Bank, Swiss Bank Corporation, Dubai International Capital, and Millennium Management. He has lived and worked in Stockholm, Malmö, London, Paris, Dubai, and New York City. His experience covers M&A, corporate finance, and capital raising in Europe. His geographic focus is Scandinavia and the UK. He holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York City as a Fulbright Scholar. He is a citizen of Sweden where he resides.
Christoph is a multidisciplinary manager and has over 22 years of experience in the banking and payments industry. He heads up the E-Commerce division of a global provider of payment software and processing solutions with the focus on build & run solutions for customers and partners as well as banks. Before that, he was Vice President for E-Commerce & Innovations as well as a member of the management team of Concardis (Nets Group) in Frankfurt/Germany and previously Country Manager at Ingenico for the DACH region in Brussels/Belgium. Christoph worked for DZ Bank AG in Frankfurt/Germany for more than 6 years, where he started his career and held various management positions. He is also a member of the PayComm Advisory Board.
Markus is a Managing Partner of Envoled, an award-winning strategy, marketing, and customer-centricity consulting firm. Prior to his role at Envolved, he was CEO of DeutschlandCard GmbH, one of the leading customer loyalty programs in Europe with over 20 million members, part of the Bertelsmann Group. Markus held various leadership positions within the Bertelsmann Group prior to his appointment as CEO of DeutschlandCard. Markus works with Herax Partners on Capital Raising & M&A projects across a variety of sectors including FinTech, Financials Services, and Business Services.
Michael has more than 30 years of experience in financial services. After many years in various positions in BHW with focus on sales, product management and marketing he was appointed CEO of Bonnfinanz AG. After the successful repositioning and years of profitable growth he moved as CEO to OVB Holding AG. In 2015 Michael was honored for his great work as best CEO in financial services brokerage with the European CEO Award. Johannes has 22 years experience in investment banking and wealth management. After many years in investment banking in firms like UBS und HSBC he became head of a private bank in Geneva. Johannes started his career in the Chancellor’s Office, at that time in Bonn, with a degree in political economics from Munich University.
John has over 40 years experience in investment banking having been a director of Samuel Montagu and managing director, head of international team at HSBC Investment Bank, specialising in M&A and capital raising. More recently John was a founding partner of SP Angel Corporate Finance and a non-executive director of two listed Russian companies. He is presently chairman of a main board London-listed company and a non-executive director of another listed company. John is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Banker.
Bernd has over 15 years’ experience in the payment & loyalty industry and heads up the International Business Development Card Division of a Swiss bank, concentrating on payment as well as finance optimization tools for customers outside Switzerland. Before he was Head of Global Merchant Loyalty at Mastercard in London and prior to that Global Head of Financial Partnerships & Digital Solution as well as Member of the Management Board for Lufthansa Miles & More (the leading customer loyalty program in Europe with over 35 million members globally) in Frankfurt, Germany. Bernd works with Herax Partners on Capital Raising and M&A projects across a range of sectors including FinTech, Financials Services and in particular in the Payment Industry.
Torben is a Director at Herax Partners. He joined the firm in 2016 from a previous role as a management consultant for Organisational Design, and Leadership & Talent at Hay Group/Korn Ferry. Torben has worked on numerous transactions in Consumer, Financial Services (FIG) and Business Services. He has a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from Dresden University of Technology and a Master in Management & Economics from Zeppelin University.
Dr. Türk is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the finance industry. He served most recently as the CEO of HQ Capital, an EUR 12bn AuM alternative asset manager with Fund of Funds, Co-Investment, and Secondary offerings, where he remains a Senior Adviser. Before his tenure at HQ Capital, Dr. Türk held positions including spokesperson for the board of HQ Holding, the holding company for the financial services investment activities of the Harald Quandt family in Bad Homburg. His career also includes various roles at Commerzbank, including Branch Manager of the Retail and Wealth Management segments, Head of Wealth Management Distribution, and a six-year stint overseeing specific activities of the Discretionary Asset Management business amid the integration of Dresdner Bank.
Cees Borst is the former CEO of Box Consultants, a Dutch Multi-Family Office. Thanks to more than 25 years of experience in Wealth and Asset Management in the Netherlands and Belgium, he has built an extensive network in the region and a comprehensive understanding of the key sector trends in Europe.
